What Seperates Me From You
That's the difference
between me and you;
I just can't do it,
I cannot let go.
I know you're good
at hiding it.
But I can't help
to let it show.
Everyone tells me
it's
best
to
move on.
But I only have
strength to
hold on.
I do not care
if you think it's wrong.
If I feel it in my heart,
then that's where it belongs.
He walks the streets
With his head held high,
All dressed up
In a suit and tie.
He's the type of man
Who cannot tell a lie.
He only speaks the truth.
He'll tell it to you straight
To be keeper of honesty,
Is his only fate.
Perhaps you won't like that,
But it's impossible to hate.
Many say he's elegant
And while I know this is true,
He is most recognized
By his hat of greenblue.
With a tip of his teal topper,
Your innocent heart he'll woo.
If I am me
and you are you?
Does that make you one
and make me too?
Are you and I connected?
Or are we seperate?
Should I keep your love to myself?
No, you said to share it.
I am still conflicted
on who it is I am,
and who are you
to tell me
that you want to be
a part of me?
I understand, I am
your creation
and that you sent your son
for my salvation
But I still can't grasp
all that you are (and)
How far will your grace go?
How long can this relationship last?
Forever you say,
For now and always
But for now I'll focus on
living for you today.
We were both young when we first met,
Full of wonder and empty of regret.
We were so sure this innocence would last
Not knowing infatuations fades fast
My need for you grew stronger
While my faith in your grew weaker
I trusted you no longer
Though you'll always be my seeker
I'll ask you a thousand times more
Am I still the one you adore?
I may claim to feel the same
As I did so long ago
But to say you were my only love
Well, you will never know
We were both young when we first met,
Full of wonder and empty of regret.
We were so sure this innocence would last
Not knowing infatuations fades fast
My need for you grew stronger
While my faith in your grew weaker
I trusted you no longer
Though you'll always be my seeker
I'll ask you a thousand times more
Am I still the one you adore?
I may claim to feel the same
As I did so long ago
But to say you were my only love
Well, you will never know

There is no goodbye,
No loving words,
To tell this lonely soul anything,
She just left
Without a word,
Leaving again.
She left before,
Again without words,
Leaving for time and time,
As I sat here Alone,
With no warmth or love.
Does she not know,
The sufferin of this soul?
Does she not know,
The tears of angish I shed?
Does she she not know,
That she is the only good I have?
Does she not know,
That I love her?
I do not know,
Why she leaves.
I do not know,
Why we mourn.
I do not know,
Why we cry in an eternal ring.
I do not know,
If I am the reason she leaves.
I do know,
That I'll love her always.
I do know,
That I'll wait here always.
